How to enroll at the University of Toronto
Admission to the University of Toronto is highly competitive. In addition to having achieved a high-grade point average throughout high school, applicants must present good scores in SAT I (Reasoning) or ACT examinations.
As long as your high school average is above 90%, UofT won’t be hard to get into. However, there is evidence that the acceptance rate went down in recent years.
Besides, the entering average has risen above 93% for some programs. So a good extracurricular profile can improve your odds of acceptance.
According to CollegeDunia, admissions at the U of T are competitive, with an average acceptance rate of 43%.
The average GPA required to get into Toronto University is 3.6. As per the recent admission cycle, a minimum GPA of 3.8 is considered competitive for graduate applicants. All your academic grades are included in a single GPA. Check out the UofT GPA Calculator.
U of T accepts applications from well-qualified students from around the world. Approximately 21% of their student body is international, with students coming from 168 countries and regions.
Do you require personal essays, letters of reference, or interviews as part of the admissions process?
Although some programs require supplemental applications or student profiles, most programs at the University of Toronto do not.

University of toronto fees
UofT is quite expensive, with undergraduate tuition and fees around 6,590 CAD, International tuition 45,690 CAD. The university commands high prices because of its reputation.
There is no Canadian (or provincial) government funding for international students because they are not citizens.
The University of Toronto fees consist of tuition, incidental and ancillary fees based on several factors. In addition, you’ll want to consider other costs such as books, supplies, residence, transportation, food, and other expenses.
If you are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person, there are many sources of financial aid available to help you cover the costs of your University of Toronto education – from OSAP and other government aid to assistance provided by the University.
If you are an international applicant, you should find out about your home country’s financial aid programs to see if you qualify for assistance.
The University of Toronto is a publicly-funded institution, and because of that, it cannot offer financial aid to international students.
Eligible high school students are automatically considered for various admission scholarships when they apply to the University.
Some admissions scholarships require a separate application and others that require you to complete an awards profile.
Note, however, that the value of scholarships is rarely sufficient to cover all costs the student will incur while attending the University of Toronto.
