UR Courses is a safe space where University of Regina professors and students may communicate, share information, and access course-related activities, regardless of whether your course is entirely online or mostly in the classroom.


Moodle, an open-source program used to build and support course websites and online learning communities, serves as the foundation for UR Courses.



Usually, you can access your course when the semester begins. If the semester has already started, you will have access to your course about 24 hours after enrolling.


How to log into ur courses

  • Please visit uregina.ca/urcourses.
  • To access UR Courses, click the button.
  • the username you use.
  • To sign in, enter your password.
  • Click "Forgot your password?" if you're having trouble logging in or can't remember your username and password. Contact IT Support at 306-585-4685 or it.support@uregina.ca if this does not work.
How to log into ur courses

Your UR Courses account is automatically created based on registration and is connected to your uregina.ca email address. Approximately 24 hours after you add or delete a course, UR Courses will reflect this change.


The University of Regina uses UR Courses for all of its online courses. By the end of the first day of classes for the semester, you will be able to access your class in UR Courses. You will be able to access your class 24 hours after enrolling if you register after the first day of classes.

How to change your password


Change uregina.ca password


This is used for logging into Email, UR Courses, Eduroam Wireless access, and Computer login to Micro Focus OES.Go to uregina.ca password webpage.

  • Enter your usual uregina.ca username.
  • Enter your current password.
  • Enter a new password – must be at least 8 digits long, and contain three of the following: lowercase letter, uppercase letter, number, symbol.
  • Click ‘Change Password’
  • Remember to change password on any other devices if the account is synced.

If you have used your account before, but do not remember your username, contact the IT Support Centre.

How to change your UR self-service PIN


This is used for logging into UR Self-Service, Bookstore textbook login, and Parking permits requests login.Open web page to UR Self Service Login.

  • Log in using your current 9-digit user ID and current PIN.
  • Choose ‘Personal Information’
  • Choose ‘Change PIN’
  • Enter your current PIN.
  • Enter a new PIN – it must be at least 8 digits long, numbers only, and can be up to 20 digits long.
  • Enter new PIN again to confirm.
  • Click the ‘Change PIN’ button.

Official UR app for students


Stay connected to the University of Regina with our official app for students. The free app gives you mobile access to your class schedule, grades, important student contacts, and resources.

Sign in using your nine-digit student ID number and six-digit PIN to access your class schedule and grades. Note: Make sure you visit the main U of R website and log into UR Self-Service to set or update your PIN, before logging into the app.

If you upgrade the operating system on your mobile device, launch the app and sign in again.
